Job summary

Purcell Tire Company is seeking a driven sales professional to grow our commercial, truck and OTR tire business. You will engage fleet customers, conduct fleet surveys, tire analyses, and mileage tracking to propose retread and service solutions that maximize uptime and tire life.

The role emphasizes relationship building, meeting sales quotas, and collaborating with Purcell’s team to deliver value. A high school education, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and a valid driver’s license are

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
3–5 years of job-specific experience.
Driver’s license required.
Safety-sensitive environment; drug testing (THC) applies.

Responsibilities

Sell commercial, truck, and OTR sales/service, including retreads.
Assure highest levels of customer service via fleet surveys, tire analysis, mileage tracking and reports.
Resolve customer concerns or complaints promptly.
Follow pricing policies to maintain satisfactory gross margins.
Meet sales quotas set by supervisor.
Maintain a clean vehicle to reflect the corporate image.
Maintain proper telephone answering techniques.
Solicit new accounts.
Report information to Purcell’s sales management tool.
Protect company assets (inventory, cash, receivables, equipment, real estate).
Embrace Purcell’s culture of safety and perform all jobs safely.
Regular attendance per schedule.
Ability to perform physical requirements as listed in job description.
Other essential and non-essential duties as assigned by management.
