Job summary

Southern Tire Mart is hiring for tire service technicians to balance, rotate, and repair tires on diverse fleets. You will diagnose mechanical issues on semi-trucks and trailers, conduct fleet inspections, and assist with inventory. Roadside calls may be required using a service truck.

Safety and TPMS maintenance are essential. The role requires a valid driver’s license, 18+ years old, willingness to work flexible hours, and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience with heavy-duty or commercial tires preferred.
• Ability to lift/move tires weighing 30–250 lbs, with or without aids.
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires on passenger cars, light trucks, large trucks, and industrial vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on semi-trucks and trailers.
• Respond to roadside service calls with a service truck when needed.
• Operate and maintain TPMS systems and safety practices.
• Conduct fleet inspections and routine maintenance.
• Assist with inventory loading, unloading, and counts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
