Southern Tire Mart seeks a tire technician to mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires on passenger cars, light trucks, and heavy-duty fleets. You will diagnose mechanical issues on semis and trailers, perform fleet inspections, and maintain TPMS systems.

Responsibilities include safe vehicle operation, roadside service when needed, and contributing to inventory control and ongoing training. Requirements include being 18+, passing a drug screen, and a valid license with a clean driving record.

Formación

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid driver4 license with a clean driving record required.
• Experience with heavy-duty or commercial tires preferred (not required).
• Ability to lift/move tires weighing between 300 lbs., with or without mechanical aids.

Responsabilidades

• Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires across passenger cars, light trucks, and heavy trucks.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on semi-trucks and trailers (tires, HVAC, brakes, drivetrain, electrical).
• Conduct fleet inspections and routine maintenance.
• Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with traffic regulations.
• Respond to roadside service calls using a service truck when needed.
• Use and maintain TPMS systems.
• Assist with inventory loading, unloading, and counts.
• Participate in ongoing training and follow safety protocols.
