Job summary

Watson Civil Construction, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Fleet Management Coordinator to support our vehicle and equipment fleet across Florida projects.

You will lead telematics installation, monitor devices, troubleshoot connectivity, and develop reports to identify efficiency and cost-saving opportunities. Collaborating with drivers, vendors, and internal teams, you will coordinate maintenance, asset tracking, fuel usage, and fleet purchases while ensuring accurate records and timely

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Automotive Technology, Fleet Management, Data Analytics, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in fleet operations, telematics, data analytics, or related field preferred.
• Experience with fleet management, preventive maintenance coordination, and fuel management preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple open items and follow through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary internal resource for fleet telematics installation and connected technology on vehicles and equipment.
• Monitor GPS/telematics devices, vehicle gateways, cameras, and reporting accuracy.
• Troubleshoot device wiring, connectivity, software, and configuration issues.
• Track devices and coordinate with telematics providers, installers, and support teams.
• Analyze fleet data and develop reports to identify trends and improvements.
• Coordinate day-to-day fleet operations support and act as a point of contact for staff.
