Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking an Automotive Installation Technician to join our team. You will install GPS, telematics, cameras, sensors, and other fleet technology across cars, trucks, tractors, and trailers, in a mobile setting.

We value hands-on automotive, electrical, and installation experience, safety, and quality. You''ll learn new tech while contributing to customer satisfaction and fleet reliability.

Qualifications

Hands-on automotive, electrical, mechanical, or installation experience.
Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and basic diagnostics.
Comfortable reading wiring diagrams and technical instructions.
Valid driver''s license with clean record.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
21+ years of age

Responsibilities

Install and troubleshoot GPS, telematics, cameras, and sensors on fleet vehicles.
Work on light vehicles to heavy trucks and trailers.
Perform basic 12V/24V wiring.
Document installations with photos and service notes.
Travel to customer locations for mobile installations.
Maintain safety and quality, right-first-time installations.
