Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking an Automotive Installation Technician to install and support GPS, telematics, cameras, sensors, and other fleet technology across vehicles. You’ll work on light-duty vehicles, trucks, tractors, and trailers with 12V/24V wiring, routing, testing, and documentation.
Ideal candidates have automotive, electrical, mechanical, or installation backgrounds and a willingness to learn new technology.
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on automotive, electrical, and installation experience.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and perform basic diagnostics.
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills, with safety and quality focus.
Responsabilités
- Install and troubleshoot GPS, telematics, dash cameras, sensors, and tracking equipment.
- Work on light vehicles, trucks, tractors, trailers, and other fleet assets.
- Perform 12V/24V wiring and route wiring for clean installations.
- Test system connectivity and function; document work with notes and photos.
- Travel to customer sites for mobile installations as needed.
- Maintain safety and right-first-time installations.
