Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking an Automotive Installation Technician to install and support GPS, telematics, cameras, sensors, and other fleet technology across cars, trucks, tractors, and trailers. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with automotive, electrical, or installation background who enjoys learning new technology.

You’ll travel to customer sites for mobile installations, work with industry-leading fleet tech, and participate in paid training and certifications.

Qualifications

• Hands-on automotive, electrical, mechanical, or installation experience.
• Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and basic diagnostics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot GPS, ELDs, telematics, dash cameras, sensors, and tracking equipment.
• Work on light-duty vehicles, commercial trucks, tractors, trailers, and other fleet assets.
• Perform basic 12V/24V wiring, including power, ignition, ground, and diagnostics.
