Job summary

PepsiCo Rochester is seeking a maintenance technician to service fleet vehicles used to deliver PepsiCo brands. You will perform PMs and repairs, diagnose issues with modern tools, and handle documentation for work orders and vehicle records. The role emphasizes safety and readiness to respond to service needs throughout shifts.

The position offers full-time hours with daytime start and end times, and provides on-the-job training and opportunities for growth within PepsiCo’s mobility fleet.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (with or without accommodations).
• Certified in Brakes, ASE Electrical, and ASE Heavy Duty.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) and repairs with independence.
• Use diagnostic tools and programs to diagnose issues and complete repairs (training provided).
• Conduct advanced diagnostics and repairs across a diverse fleet (light/heavy trucks, vans, forklifts).
• Maintain documentation and records (work orders, vehicle records, checklists) using provided tools.
• Support safety-first culture by following safety standards and answering service calls as needed.

• Work Days: Monday - Friday
• Start Time: 1:00 PM
• End Time: 9:30 PM

Maintain and repair fleet vehicles and equipment so beloved brands like Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina reach communities safely and on time.

What You’ll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) and repairs with a high degree of independence
• Use leading-edge tools and programs to diagnose issues and complete repairs (training provided)
• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs across a diverse fleet (light/heavy trucks, vans, and forklifts)
• Maintain documentation and records (work orders, vehicle records, checklists) using provided tools
• Support our safety-first culture by following all safety standards and procedures-and answering service calls as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• 21 years or older
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Position must be able to lift up to 50lbs (with or without an accommodation)
• Position must be able to reach lift, carry, push and pull (with or without an accommodation)
• Position requires the following certifications: Brakes, ASE Electrical, ASE Heavy Duty
• Position requires at least 1 year of experience or training in: hydraulic and air brake systems, after treatment and emissions repairs, driveline repairs, engine repairs, using diagnostic platforms, and welding
