Job summary

City and County of Denver's Department of Transportation and Infrastructure is seeking a Fleet Technician Supervisor to lead a diverse team responsible for inspection, repair and maintenance of the City's vehicle fleet. You will supervise fleet technicians, manage records, and coordinate preventive maintenance to ensure high availability of essential equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a valid Class A or B CDL, six years of journey-level experience, and a proven ability to use data to drive

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate.
• Six (6) years of journey level experience in diagnosis, repair and maintenance of gasoline, diesel, or alternate fuel powered equipment.
• Valid Driver's License required; CDL Class A and/or B with endorsements by end of probation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise fleet technicians in inspection, diagnosis, repair and maintenance of equipment.
• Prepare and maintain labor, parts, materials and maintenance cost records.
• Maintain active and reserve fleet databases and monitor preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate equipment purchase processes and budget input.
• Develop performance goals and evaluate staff; implement process improvements.
