Job summary

EarthBalance is seeking a dependable Fleet Technician to join our team in Arcadia, FL. The role focuses on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of small engine equipment used by field crews. Experience with ATVs, UTVs, trucks, and trailers is a strong plus.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on mechanical skills, the ability to diagnose problems, and a commitment to safe, organized shop practices. Valid driver’s license required; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing and maintaining small engines and equipment.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with ATVs, UTVs, trucks, trailers, or similar equipment preferred.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize repairs based on operational needs.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required.
• Dependable, safety-minded, and willing to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on small engine equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and complete necessary repairs.
• Maintain and service equipment such as chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, pumps, and other small engine tools.
• Assist with maintenance and repairs of ATVs and UTVs.
• Assist with basic maintenance and repairs of company trucks and trailers.
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Identify equipment issues before they result in breakdowns or unsafe conditions.
• Maintain an organized and safe shop/work area.
• Track repairs, maintenance, and equipment service needs.
• Assist with other fleet and equipment-related duties as needed.
