Job summary

EarthBalance is seeking a dependable Fleet Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair small engine equipment used by field crews in Florida. Experience with ATVs/UTVs, trucks, trailers, and related fleet gear is a strong plus.

You will diagnose problems, perform preventative maintenance, and keep a safe, organized shop. The ideal candidate has hands-on small engine expertise, strong mechanical skills, and a proactive approach to preventing breakdowns.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing and maintaining small engines and equipment.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with ATVs, UTVs, trucks, trailers, or similar equipment preferred.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize repairs based on operational needs.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on small engine equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and complete necessary repairs.
• Maintain and service equipment such as chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, pumps, and other small engine tools.
• Assist with maintenance and repairs of ATVs and UTVs.
• Assist with basic maintenance and repairs of company trucks and trailers.
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Identify equipment issues before they result in breakdowns or unsafe conditions.
• Maintain an organized and safe shop/work area.
• Track repairs, maintenance, and equipment service needs; assist with other fleet duties as needed.
