Job summary

Bland Landscaping Company is seeking an Automotive/Small Engine Fleet Mechanic to keep our field operations running smoothly. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain our fleet vehicles and landscaping equipment, from trucks to commercial mowers.

Responsibilities include diagnosing brakes, suspensions, electrical systems, and performing preventive maintenance. You will handle 2-cycle and 4-cycle engines and assist with seasonal snow equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a mechanic working on automotive vehicles and small engines.
• Strong diagnostic skills in mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems.
• ASE certifications or manufacturer-specific small engine certs are a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles (light/medium trucks, vans, trailers).
• Diagnose and repair brakes, suspensions, steering, electrical, and exhaust systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance like oil changes, fluid flushes, tire rotations, and brake checks.
