Job summary

Vestis Corporation seeks a Fleet Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles, ensuring DOT and OSHA compliance. You will work with the Lead Mechanic to schedule and complete tasks efficiently.

Role requires 2+ years in fleet repairs, a high school diploma or GED, and flexibility to work day shifts with possible evenings/weekends. Training on AVMS and safety programs is provided.

Qualifications

• Two years or more experience in fleet vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• High School Diploma or GED; an Associates degree is preferred.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and DOT standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fleet vehicles with emphasis on Preventive Maintenance to meet 100% standards.
• Use AVMS to track shop operations and duties.
• Assist with cost control through purchasing and inventory management.
• Ensure OSHA and DOT compliance; keep shop clean and safe.
• Document repairs and inspections according to guidelines.
• Perform other duties as required to support operations.
