Job summary

GEO Secured Services is seeking a Fleet Technician to coordinate repairs and maintenance for a vehicle fleet used in inmate transport. You will ensure compliance with federal regulations and maintain safety inspections, DVIRs, and documentation.

The role requires dispatcher or customer service experience, a High School diploma or GED, and CDL Class B within six months. Expect collaboration with vendors and a focus on safe, cost-effective operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of dispatcher or customer service experience in a fleet environment.
• Must have a valid CDL Class B with Passenger endorsement within six months.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer the maintenance and repair of a fleet of vehicles.
• Ensure DOT and FMCSR compliance and complete DVIRs as required.
• Maintain maintenance records, schedules, and vehicle inspections.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs and fleet services and track GPS/DVR systems.
