GEO Secured Services is hiring a Fleet Technician to coordinate and manage vehicle maintenance for a fleet serving inmate transport operations. The role ensures safety, compliance with FMCSA and DOT rules, and efficient scheduling of repairs.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED, 2 years in fleet coordination, and a valid CDL class B with P endorsement within six months. ASE certification is a plus, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a High School diploma or GED.
• Two years coordinating or maintaining on-highway vehicles.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer maintenance for a fleet of vehicles including buses and vans.
• Ensure compliance with FMCSA rules and DOT inspections.
• Prepare short- and long-range transport and maintenance plans.
• Maintain DVIRs and ensure proper filing per procedures and regulations.
• Monitor GPS tracking, DVR systems, and safety equipment on vehicles.
• Drive various vehicle types as needed and oversee fleet appearance.
