Job summary

Goodyear is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Technician in Stockton, CA to perform on-road service at our Commercial Truck & Tire Centers. You will conduct preventive and light maintenance on commercial vehicles, focusing on oil changes, PMs, and DOT inspections, while ensuring high customer satisfaction through your technical expertise and attentiveness.

The position requires at least one year of commercial truck or light mechanical experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of previous commercial truck or light mechanical service experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license for the vehicle type and meet CDL requirements if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative and light maintenance on commercial vehicles, including oil changes and PMs.
• Uphold safety and liability policies; maintain a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with team to meet goals and deadlines.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting and handling tires and wheels.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Expertise: Conduct preventative and light maintenance on commercial vehicles, focusing on various areas such as oil change , pm's, DOT inspections and more.
• Safety: Uphold safety and liability policies, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment
• Work Together: Collaborate as part of a motivated team to meet organizational goals and deadlines.
• Physical: Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including commercial tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.

Basic Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and at least 21 years of age.
• Must have one year of previous commercial truck or light mechanical service experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license for the type of vehicle required for the position and be able to meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
