Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Technician in Stockton, CA. This role focuses on on-road service at our Commercial Truck & Tire Centers, performing preventive and light maintenance to keep trucks in peak condition and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and be able to work safely in a physical environment.

Qualifications

• Requires 1 year of experience in commercial truck or light mechanical service.
• Must have a valid driver’s license for the vehicle type and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and light maintenance on commercial vehicles (oil changes, PMs, DOT inspections).
• Maintain safety and liability policies to ensure a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with the team to meet goals and deadlines.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting and handling of tires and wheels.

Starting Pay: $25.00-$32.00 (DOE)

About the Role: What will you do?

• Technical Expertise: Conduct preventative and light maintenance on commercial vehicles, focusing on various areas such as oil change , pm's, DOT inspections and more.
• Safety: Uphold safety and liability policies, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment
• Work Together: Collaborate as part of a motivated team to meet organizational goals and deadlines.
• Physical: Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including commercial tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.

Basic Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and at least 21 years of age.
• Must have one year of previous commercial truck or light mechanical service experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license for the type of vehicle required for the position and be able to meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
