Zusammenfassung

Municipality of Anchorage's Anchorage Water & Wastewater Utility is seeking an experienced automotive and equipment technician to perform intermediate maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles and heavy equipment. Under supervision, you will work with Journeyman Fleet Technicians, conduct preventative maintenance, and respond to field service calls for emergency repairs.

A CDL-A is required by hire or obtainable according to policy, and the role may involve disaster-response shifts.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 4 years of experience in servicing and intermediate repairs of light/heavy vehicles and stationary equipment.
• Two-year certified apprenticeship/technical program plus 2 years of related experience in servicing and intermediate repairs of light/heavy vehicles and equipment.
• Must have a valid CDL-A; if not, obtain within required timeframe after hire.

Aufgaben

• Under supervision, performs intermediate automotive and equipment maintenance duties on fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance services and some light repairs on fleet equipment, generators, pumps, and related machinery; conducts field service calls for emergency repairs.
