Job summary

Constellis is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician II to perform inspections, services, repairs, and preventative maintenance on township-owned fleet vehicles and equipment in a busy service center.

The role requires repairing hydraulic, exhaust, suspension and electrical systems, diagnosing malfunctions, and completing all related paperwork with a focus on safety and efficiency. NJ residency is implied with local licensing expectations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Trade tech certification in Diesel or Automotive Mechanics or 3–4 years repair experience.
• Must be welding certified and have a NJ Driver’s license; Class B CDL in NJ preferred.
• 9 ASE certifications listed as preferred but not required; own tools required.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled repair and maintenance on gasoline and diesel vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctions and repair hydraulic, exhaust, suspension and electrical systems.
• Complete routine and preventative maintenance and timely paperwork.
• Work in a busy service center with exposure to weather and safety gear.
• Assist with overtime during snow events as needed.
