RECYCLING COMPANY in Fontana, CA is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic with fleet experience to maintain and repair a diverse fleet of vehicles. You will diagnose issues, follow safety procedures, and mentor apprentices.

The right candidate has 3–5 years in diesel mechanics, knowledge of PACCAR, Peterbilt, Cummins and Mack, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of diesel mechanics experience.
• Fleet or mechanic management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of PACCAR, Peterbilt, Cummins and Mack highly desired.
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal/communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe work area including your company vehicle and customer facilities.
• Adhere to OSHA, company and customer safety procedures.
• Maintain positive customer relations through professional interactions with customers.
• Follow all company operating and process procedures.
• Complete repairs using company and manufacturer guidelines.
