Job summary

EquipmentShare in Dallas, TX is hiring a Fleet Technician to keep our rental fleet in top condition. You will inspect, service, and repair gas, diesel, and EV vehicles, document work orders, and assist with yard maintenance and safety compliance.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year in maintenance/repair, with a valid driver’s license. Schedule is Mon–Fri 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, with overtime and on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Safety training and PPE required when applicable.
• Valid driver’s license must be maintained.
• Demonstrates a positive, can-do attitude and the flexibility to adapt to business needs.

Responsibilities

• Ensures fleet vehicles and equipment are clean and safe to operate.
• Repairs and maintains a fleet of gas, diesel, and EV vehicles including various trucks and vans.
• Performs routine vehicle inspections and maintenance such as oil changes and tire rotations.
• Detects and troubleshoots engine/electrical/mechanical issues to keep vehicles operational.
• Keeps maintenance reports and work orders up to date.
• Monitors and stocks parts and supplies for repairs.
• Maintains a clean, safe branch and follows safety procedures.
• Supports culture and customer experience standards.
