Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a fleet mechanic in DeForest, WI to maintain and repair fleet vehicles and diagnose mechanical issues. You will work with experienced mechanics on complex repairs and manage parts and labor charges on work orders, while building vendor relationships for parts and services.

The role involves handling preventive maintenance, lifting heavy parts, and working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Qualifications

  • You are at least 21 years of age or older.
  • May be required to work weekends/holidays/on/off shift.
  • Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair fleet vehicles, diagnosing mechanical issues and performing preventive maintenance.
  • Collaborate with experienced mechanics on complex repairs and troubleshooting.
  • Manage parts inventory and accurately charge parts and labor to work orders.
  • Build relationships with vendors for estimates on parts or outside labor.
