Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a full-time fleet mechanic in Champaign, IL. You will maintain and repair fleet vehicles, diagnose issues, and perform preventative maintenance to keep drivers safe on the road delivering beloved brands. The role involves working with experienced mechanics and managing parts inventory in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age or older.
• Valid D10K Certification.
• Driver's license not suspended or revoked in past 3 years.
• Able to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Able to work in tight spaces and for long shifts.
• Able to work on/under trucks for 8–12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair fleet vehicles, diagnose mechanical issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet equipment.
• Work alongside experienced mechanics on complex repairs.
• Manage parts inventory and charge parts/labor to work orders.
• Build relationships with vendors for parts estimates and outside labor.
