Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. in Las Cruces, NM is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet of vehicles, including light and heavy trucks, vans, and forklifts. You will diagnose issues with advanced tools and maintain thorough vehicle records during a fast-paced shift.

Responsibilities include independent PMs, safety compliance, and on-the-go service calls. Training is provided to expand diagnostics capabilities and career growth within PepsiCo.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old and a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• 1 year of experience or training in hydraulic and air brake systems, after treatment and emissions repairs, driveline repairs, engine repairs, using diagnostic platforms, and welding.
• Certifications in Brakes, ASE Electrical, and ASE Heavy Duty.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) and repairs with independence.
• Use diagnostic tools and programs to diagnose issues and complete repairs (training provided).
• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs across a diverse fleet (light/heavy trucks, vans, forklifts).
• Maintain documentation and records (work orders, vehicle records, checklists).
• Follow safety standards and respond to service calls as needed.
