Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a fleet maintenance technician to keep our vehicles and equipment in peak condition. You’ll perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet including light and heavy trucks, vans, and forklifts with training provided.

The role offers $29.80 per hour on-site, with a Tuesday–Saturday schedule and start time of 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm, plus on-the-job training and opportunities to grow within PepsiCo's safety-first environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 years or older.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (with or without accommodation).
• Must be able to reach lift, carry, push and pull (with or without an accommodation).
• Certifications: Brakes, ASE Electrical, ASE Heavy Duty.
• At least 1 year of experience or training in hydraulic and air brake systems, after treatment and emissions repairs, driveline repairs, engine repairs, using diagnostic platforms, and welding.

Responsibilities

• Work with a high degree of independence while performing preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Utilize leading-edge technology and programs to complete preventative maintenance and diagnostics (training provided).
• Leverage and grow your skills working on a diverse fleet automobiles, trucks (light and heavy), vans, and forklifts.
• Diagnose equipment and vehicle failures; disassemble, repair, and reassemble parts as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation in vehicle systems (work orders, vehicle records, parts reconciliation, and checklists) while adhering to all safety standards and procedures.
