Chick-fil-A Supply in Columbia, SC is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician—Class C to service tractors, trailers, and related equipment used for restaurant deliveries. You will follow safety standards, document repairs, and perform preventative maintenance.

The role requires a high school diploma, EPA licenses, and the ability to work outdoors, with occasional overnight or weekend shifts and travel up to 15% as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain EPA 608/609 licenses within 12 months of hire.
• Willingness to train on Cummins Insite, Bendix ACOM and vendor-led training.
• Working knowledge of transportation equipment, fuel use and DEF.
• Ability to perform duties outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties following Chick-fil-A safety standards.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment.
• Ensure tractors and trucks have DEF and fuel records up to date.
• Document repairs and work orders in the Fleet Maintenance System.
• Perform preventative maintenance like battery inspection and lubrication.
• Raise trucks with hydraulic jacks or hoists and operate safety equipment.
• Communicate problems with Supervisor and follow procedures.
