Job description

EXPLEO GROUP USA is looking for a Fleet Technician and Lab Facilitator to join a dynamic and expanding team in Troy, MI and other locations.

Responsibilities

• Supporting engineering teams with vehicle preparation, part installation, removal, and modification.
• Conducting part fitment checks and providing clear feedback on engineering issues.
• Assisting in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and system-level concerns.
• Reviewing and checking parts in CAD 3D NX.
• Performing routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on development and fleet vehicles.
• Ensuring all vehicles meet safety, compliance, and OEM standards.
• Maintaining accurate service, repair, and configuration documentation.
• Coordinating vehicle scheduling and readiness for testing and development activities.
• Managing parts inventory, test components, and specialized tools.
• Maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient workshop environment.
• Working closely with engineering, testing, quality, and supplier partners.
• Supporting prototype part handling, shipping/receiving, and traceability.
• Providing technical insights during build reviews and test planning.
• This role will be responsible for performing hands‑on technical and lab support activities to ensure efficient fleet and engineering operations.
