Job summary

Coca-Cola Beverages Florida, LLC is seeking a Fleet Technician for our Hollywood, FL location. Hours are 3:00 PM–11:30 PM Monday–Thursday and 12:00 PM–8:30 PM Sunday. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to ensure fleet reliability, safety and high operational uptime.

This role owns repair execution and will learn advanced diagnostics. Candidates should have 2+ years of fleet maintenance, experience with diesel vehicles, trailers or PIT equipment, DOT inspections, and

Qualifications

• 2+ years of fleet maintenance experience.
• Experience with diesel vehicles, light/medium duty trucks, trailers and PIT equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and DOT compliance.
• Basic fleet tools and MS Office 365 proficiency.
• Valid liability insurance and driving record per MVR guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet assets including heavy, light and on-road vehicles, trailers and PIT equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical failures.
• Complete DOT inspections and documentation.
• Troubleshoot brake systems, suspensions, electrical, fuel and hydraulic systems.
• Respond to breakdowns and emergency repairs.
• Maintain repair records in Fleet Management Tool.

Coke Florida is looking for a Fleet Technician based out of our Hollywood location. Working 3:00PM to 11:30PM, Monday - Thursday and 12:00PM to 8:30PM on Sunday.

What You Will Do:

As a Coke Florida Fleet Technician, you will be responsible for independently performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to main fleet reliability, safety and operational uptime. This role will own the repair execution while learning advanced diagnostics and repair skills

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet assets to including but not limited to ; Heavy, Medium, and Light Duty on road vehicles, Trailers and Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical failures
• Complete DOT inspections and documentation
• Troubleshoot and Repair:
  • Brake systems
  • Suspensions
  • Electrical Systems
  • Fuel Systems
  • Hydraulic Systems
• Respond to breakdowns and emergency repairs
• Maintain accurate repair records in Fleet Management Tool

For this role, you will need:

• 2+ years of fleet maintenance experience
• Experience servicing at least two of the following:
  • Diesel vehicles
  • Light and medium duty trucks
  • Trailers
  • PIT Equipment
• Ability to:
  • Work independently with minimal supervisor and direction
  • Diagnose root cause vs symptoms
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs and DOT compliance
• Basic proficiency with fleet management or work order systems
• Basic Computer skills to include knowledge of web-based fleet tools and MS Office 365
• Valid liability insurance and driving record within Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) policy guidelines*

*Major moving violations include, but are not limited to, leaving the scene of an accident, driving under the influence, and reckless driving. Minor moving violations include, but are not limited to, speeding, driving too close, failure to stop, and improper lane changes. Driving records, including minor moving violations, will be evaluated according to Coke Florida guidelines to determine eligibility for the position.

Additional qualifications that will make you successful in this role:

• Experience with welding
• Gasoline, diesel, propane and/or electric vehicle experience preferred
• ASE certification and CDL license or certification strongly preferred
