Job Location and Shift

Automation Maintenance Technician – Tampa, Florida. Shift: Sunday – Thursday 8:00 pm – 4:30 am; split shift Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Friday 2:00 pm – 12:30 am.

What You Will Do

As a Coke Florida Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and providing immediate preventative and corrective maintenance support to production lines and facilitating change‑over. Maintenance technicians will assist with the overhaul and install new equipment with initial OEM training and the end goal to perform most tasks “in‑house.”

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide troubleshooting and immediate preventative and corrective maintenance support within an automated warehouse, production lines and facilitate change‑over.
• Safely maintain all assets within an automated warehouse facility, including but not limited to conveyance systems, electromechanical components, and other facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on automation and production equipment to prevent downtime or reduction in efficiency.
• Overhaul and install new equipment.
• Rebuild and fabricate parts.
• Perform facility maintenance and maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Generate parts requests to ensure adequate inventory.
• Generate and complete work orders as assigned.
• Perform equipment change‑overs and production line set‑ups.
• Ensure automated warehousing system operates effectively and efficiently by actively monitoring, assessing, and repairing as needed.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience in an automation environment or production facility preferred.
• Previous experience within a high‑speed industrial environment.
• Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to follow manufacturers’ specifications and schematics.
• Required to supply hand tools.

Additional Qualifications

• EET/MET or Mechatronics degree preferred.
• 5+ years of mechanical/electrical experience highly preferred.
• Prior diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience preferred.
• Programmable Logic Control (PLC) knowledge highly preferred.
• Mill and Lathe experience preferred.
• TPM maintenance knowledge and abilities preferred.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Previous Front‑Line Leadership preferred.
