Job summary

Coca-Cola Beverages Florida, LLC is seeking a Fleet Technician based in Cocoa to diagnose, repair, and maintain fleet assets. The role requires independent troubleshooting, repair ownership, and quick issue resolution to maximize uptime.

You will perform advanced diagnostics across diesel, gas, propane and/or electric systems, execute preventative maintenance per DOT standards, and document all work meticulously. On-site position with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of fleet maintenance experience across light/medium/heavy-duty vehicles.
• Strong working knowledge of diesel, gasoline, propane and/or electric systems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and diagnose root causes.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs and DOT compliance.
• Basic proficiency with fleet management or work order systems.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain fleet assets to maximize uptime and performance.
• Perform advanced diagnostics across fleet including diesel vehicles, PIT equipment, vans, and related assets.
• Execute preventative maintenance per DOT and company standards.
• Respond to roadside breakdowns and urgent service calls when applicable.
• Document diagnostics, repairs and parts usage accurately.

Job description

Coke Florida is looking for a Fleet Technician based out of our Cocoa location. Working 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Tuesday - Friday and 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM Saturday.

What You Will Do:

As a Coke Florida Fleet Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain fleet assets to maximize uptime and performance. This role requires independent troubleshooting, repair ownership and rapid issue resolution skills and experience

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs across fleet, to include diesel vehicles, Power Industrial Truck (PIT) Equipment, Vans and other vehicles associated with our Fleet
• Trouble shoot:
  • Electrical Systems
  • Engine performance issues
  • Hydraulic and fuel systems
• Execute preventative maintenance in alignment with DOT and company standards
• Respond to roadside breakdowns (when applicable) and urgent service calls
• Accurately document diagnostics, repairs and parts usage
• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
• Support continuous improvement by identifying:
  • Repeated failures
  • Maintenance inefficiencies

For this role, you will need:

• 2-4 years of fleet maintenance experience across light/medium/heavy-duty vehicles
• Strong working knowledge of:
  • Diesel, gasoline, propane and/or electric systems
• Ability to:
  • Work independently with minimal supervisor and direction
  • Diagnose root cause vs symptoms
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs and DOT compliance
• Basic proficiency with fleet management or work order systems
• Basic Computer skills to include knowledge of web-based fleet tools and MS Office 365
• Valid liability insurance and driving record within Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) policy guidelines*

*Major moving violations include, but are not limited to, leaving the scene of an accident, driving under the influence, and reckless driving. Minor moving violations include, but are not limited to, speeding, driving too close, failure to stop, and improper lane changes. Driving records, including minor moving violations, will be evaluated according to Coke Florida guidelines to determine eligibility for the position.

Additional qualifications that will make you successful in this role:

• Journeyman electrician
• Experience with welding
• Gasoline, diesel, propane and/or electric vehicle experience preferred
• ASE certification and CDL license or certification strongly preferred
