Job summary

SIXT US is seeking a Fleet Technician to perform routine maintenance and repairs across our vehicle lineup. From oil changes to tire replacements and pre-delivery inspections, you will help keep our fleet ready and available for customers.

This role requires at least 2 years as an automotive technician or a trade-school diploma, ASE A4 and A5 certifications (or plan to earn them within a year). The position offers benefits, 40-hour work weeks, and travel up to 5–10%.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of automotive technician experience or completion of a trade program.
• ASE Certifications in Suspension & Steering (A4) and Brakes (A5) or willingness to earn within 12 months.
• Must be 18+, have a valid US driver's license with a clean record, and be eligible to work without sponsorship.
• Able to work 40 hours per week with day/evening shifts and 5–10% travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical repairs including oil changes, tire mounting/balancing, brake replacements.
• Complete pre-delivery inspections on fleet vehicles as required.
• Meet daily output goals and maintain 100% efficiency.
• Wear PPE and safety glasses during all repairs.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You perform basic mechanical repairs to include oil changes, mounting and balancing tires, Tire repair, brake and part replacements
• You complete Pre delivery inspections on fleet vehicles as required by management
• You achieve daily output goals and maintain the minimum efficiency of 100%
• You use PPE every time repairs are performed always including usage of Safety Glasses while in the automotive shops
• You Conduct daily clean-up of work area and maintains a clean work environment

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Education & ExperienceYou have at least 2 years' experience as an automotive technician or have graduated from a trade school
• CertificationsYou hold ASE Certifications in Suspension & Steering (A4) and Brakes (A5), or you're ready to earn them within your first year of employment
• Licenses & AuthorizationYou are at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and are authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship
• Work Hours & TravelYou can work 40 hours per week, including day or evening shifts, and are open to travel (5-10%)
