Job summary

SIXT is hiring a Fleet Technician in Kailua, Hawaii. In this role, you will be responsible for essential maintenance and repairs for our vehicle fleet including oil changes, tire replacements, and inspections.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience or a trade school diploma, along with required ASE certifications. We offer a competitive starting salary of $28.70 per hour and comprehensive benefits including healthcare coverage and paid time off.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience as an automotive technician or trade school graduate.
• Hold ASE Certifications in Suspension & Steering (A4) and Brakes (A5) or willing to earn them.
• At least 18 years old, valid driver's license with a clean record, authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical repairs including oil changes and tire replacements.
• Complete pre-delivery inspections on fleet vehicles.
• Maintain a clean work area and use PPE during repairs.

Skills

Experience as an automotive technician

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You perform basic mechanical repairs to include oil changes, mounting and balancing tires, Tire repair, brake and part replacements
• You complete Pre delivery inspections on fleet vehicles as required by management
• You achieve daily output goal's and maintains the minimum efficiency of 100%
• You use PPE every time repairs are performed including usage of Safety Glasses at all times while in the automotive shops
• You Conduct daily clean-up of work area and maintains a clean work environment

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Education & Experience You have at least 2 years' experience as an automotive technician or have graduated from a trade school
• Certifications You hold ASE Certifications in Suspension & Steering (A4) and Brakes (A5), or you’re ready to earn them within your first year of employment
• Licenses & Authorization You are at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and are authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship
• Work Hours & Travel You can work 40 hours per week, including day or evening shifts, and are open to travel (5-10%)
