Job summary

Delaware North in Red Cliff, Colorado is seeking a Fleet Operations Manager to oversee the mechanics shop, snowmobile and equipment maintenance, and fleet inventory. This role directs maintenance schedules, ensures licensure and training, and coordinates with management on budgeting and fleet progress.

The position requires at least 2 years of snowmobile/vehicle mechanic experience with supervisory responsibilities, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a snowmobile and vehicle mechanic and management experience in a maintenance-related environment.
• Strong knowledge of technical vehicle and snowmobile repair procedures and proficient with tools and necessary materials common with the mechanic trade.

Responsibilities

• Lead team of mechanics with daily work direction and all maintenance-related events and ensure all fleet members have proper licensure and up-to-date training.
• Monitor team members' performance and be accessible to all areas of the shop.
• Communicate with guests regarding any inquiries or issues with their snowmobile, and provide reports to management on budgeting, schedules, maintenance, and fleet progress.
• Conduct inventory checks of snowmobile and vehicle stock, and perform maintenance checks on all vehicles and snowmobiles.
• Establish efficient routes and transportation schedules and methods to decrease cost.
• Manage asset application in HotSOS
• Operate company vehicles on property
