Job summary

HB Staffing is seeking a Fleet Shop & Yard Attendant in Tucson, AZ to join a growing team. The role includes maintaining the shop and yard, fueling and inspecting vehicles, and updating computer records. Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with hours varying by workload.

Position is full-time contract, $18/hour. Benefits after 30 days, weekly pay, and opportunities for career coaching. Forklift training will be provided; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in a shop environment.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills for entering and tracking information.
• Willingness to complete forklift training and certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in a shop.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the shop, yard, and fuel islands by dumping trash and scrap metal, cleaning up spills, restocking supplies, and disposing of used materials.
• Perform weekly manual fuel tank stick measurements.
• Inspect, wash, and fuel vehicles.
• Add or remove vehicle decals.
• Retrieve parts and enter or maintain information on the computer.
• Operate a forklift after completing City-provided training and certification.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
