Job summary

The City of Tucson’s General Services Department is seeking a Fleet Services Attendant to maintain the fleet, assist with vehicle intake, transport vehicles, and perform minor servicing. This role operates under the Fleet Service Supervisor and does not supervise staff.

Responsibilities include keeping shops and fuel islands clean, recording fuel readings, creating work orders in AMS, and coordinating parts delivery. The position is full-time with an hourly pay range of $18.15 to $27.23.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Under 1 year of relevant experience.
• Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of fleet yards, fuel islands, and related areas, disposing of trash and hazardous materials per regulations.
• Perform fuel island tasks, measure fuel levels, record results, and log them.
• Ensure vehicles are ready for delivery by applying decals as needed.
• Transport vehicles to service locations, departments, and repair shops.
• Assist with vehicle intake by inspecting for damage or leaks.
• Restock and maintain inventory of shop and fuel island supplies.
• Create work orders in AMS and track vehicle service schedules.
