Job summary

Duke Energy Corporation is seeking a Fleet Acquisitions professional to guide the annual replacements and acquisitions for assigned asset types, ensuring alignment with budget and customer needs. You will manage vendor selection and contract compliance while coordinating the ordering, manufacturing, delivery, and upfitting lifecycle.

The role also covers fleet management software reporting, inventory reassignment, and communications to Fleet Services about campaigns, recalls, and diagnostics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent with 2 years' relevant experience or 4 years' equivalent industry experience.
• Working knowledge of vehicle systems, operations, applications, and specifications.
• Ability to interpret federal, state, and regulatory requirements applicable to fleet operations (DOT, ANSI, OSHA).
• Knowledge of Maximo and Fleet Mobile App.

Responsibilities

• Fleet replacements/acquisitions planning to meet customer needs within budget guidance.
• Provide technical guidance for vehicle/equipment specifications and vendor selection.
• Act as project manager through the acquisition process from ordering to delivery and upfitting.
• Support dealer, manufacturer, and supplier relationships and related procurement activities.
