The City of Huntsville's Fleet Services Department is hiring a Fleet Services Technical Assistant to support the acquisition, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of electronic equipment.

The role involves setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of PCs, software installations, data entry of all Fleet work orders, and providing training to program users. This entry-level technical position offers growth opportunities within a municipal IT environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with college level courses in computer science, MIS, IT.
• Experience with personal computers, hardware and software applications (Microsoft suites).
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsabilités

• Acquire, operate, maintain and troubleshoot electronic equipment within the Fleet Division.
• Set up, maintain and troubleshoot Personal Computers and other electronic equipment; download and install software.
• Data entry of all Fleet work orders and training program users.
