Ameren Urbana, IL seeks a Supervisor, Fleet Services to lead mechanics and/or vendors, oversee maintenance of cars, trucks and construction equipment, and ensure work aligns with safety and HR policies. The role emphasizes leadership, safety, and accountability in daily operations.

Five+ years of related experience are required, ideally with Journeyman Automotive Mechanic background and supervisory duties. A High School diploma is required; an Associate Degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate Degree in Automotive or Diesel Technology, or a business-related field preferred.
• Five or more years of relative experience required, preferably as a Journeyman Automotive Mechanic with supervisory experience.

Responsabilités

• Supervise, schedule, plan, organize, and evaluate maintenance work performed by Fleet Services employees and/or vendors in a shop or in the field.
• Supervise, train, and appraise employees; conduct safety meetings; maintain records of equipment and employees; provide clear expectations for performance.
• Consistently enforce all safety rules and conduct Job Behavioral Observations with individuals and crews.
• Coordinate activities with customers, contractors, and other company departments; monitor to ensure timely completion.
• Contribute to development and implementation of department and function goals; identify and implement improvements to control costs and improve productivity.
