Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Services Shop Supervisor to lead daily fleet operations and ensure safe, efficient maintenance of tractors, trailers, and yard equipment.

You will supervise mechanics, coordinate preventive maintenance, and uphold FMCSA and OSHA standards across a busy shop environment. The role requires leadership in coordinating with EHS and Transportation Risk Management, with a focus on compliance, safety, and cost control, while using Trimble/TMT and OEM

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least one year of management experience.
• Strong knowledge of fleet maintenance, diagnostic systems, FMCSA/DOT requirements, inspection programs, maintenance records, OSHA requirements, and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Fleet Services.
• Supervise and assign work, manage Lead Mechanics, Tractor/Trailer Mechanics, and parts personnel.
• Monitor shop performance: productivity, preventive maintenance, labor efficiency, repair quality, work orders.
