Job summary

Hertz Corporation is seeking a Fleet Services Automotive Technician to join our fleet operations. This role performs preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and inspections on company vehicles within a fast-paced service environment.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year of vehicle maintenance experience, the ability to use lifts, alignment machines, and scan tools, and possession of their own tools. A valid driver’s license is required for operating company vehicles.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year of vehicle maintenance experience.
• Experience with automotive repair is preferred.
• Must have tools to perform necessary repairs.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles.

• Operate shop equipment as required.

The Hertz Fleet Services Automotive Technician role is the second level within the Hertz Corporation for our Fleet Services team. In this role you will be performing preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and inspection.

What We’re Looking For:

Educational Background:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Professional Experience:

• At minimum one (1) years of vehicle maintenance experience
• Preferred prior experience with automotive repair (personal or professional)

Knowledge:

• Must be able to perform vehicle repairs with oversight
• Ability to use shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools

Additional Notes :

• Must have tools to perform necessary repairs
• Must have a Valid Driver's License
