The position requires a High School diploma or GED, goal of obtaining a Class A CDL within 90 days, and OSHA 10 within 12 months. On-site work with competitive benefits and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required.
• Valid Class A CDL within 90 days of employment.
• OSHA 10 certification must be obtained within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assists Equipment Mechanics using automotive service tools and methods.
• Performs pickups and deliveries of city fleet vehicles and performs preventive maintenance.
• Maintains records of parts, mileage and vehicle numbers.
• Follows safety precautions when handling hazardous materials.
