Job summary

Swickard Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac of Anchorage is seeking a Fleet Sales Consultant to build and manage commercial fleet relationships across Alaska. You will train with an experienced consultant and work toward owning the state bid book.

You will source, quote, and close fleet vehicle orders across GM brands, navigate Alaska procurement processes, and coordinate with inventory, finance, and service to ensure smooth deliveries.

Qualifications

• Automotive or fleet sales experience preferred.
• State bid or government procurement experience a significant plus.
• Relationship-oriented and patient.
• Self-directed and organized.
• Clear, professional communicator.
• Comfortable with GM fleet platforms and upfitting options.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with commercial fleet clients across the Alaska market -- businesses, government agencies, municipalities, and organizations that operate vehicle fleets.
• Train alongside our existing commercial vehicle sales consultant -- learning the Alaska fleet landscape, state bid process, and the book of business you'll eventually take ownership of.
• Source, quote, and close fleet vehicle orders -- working across Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, and Cadillac commercial platforms to match client needs with the right vehicles.
• Navigate state bid processes and government purchasing requirements -- building fluency in Alaska's commercial and public sector procurement environment.
• Maintain and grow an active pipeline of fleet accounts -- building long-term relationships that drive repeat volume across multiple procurement cycles.
• Coordinate with inventory, finance, and service to ensure fleet orders are fulfilled accurately and fleet clients receive a seamless delivery experience.
• Stay current on GM fleet programs, incentives, upfitting options, and commercial vehicle specifications.
• Represent Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac of Anchorage and Swickard's hospitality standard in every client interaction.
