Job description

At National Indoor RV Centers (NIRVC), we're not just a company – we're a community of passionate individuals dedicated to redefining the RV experience. As a leading force in the industry, NIRVC stands at the forefront of RV sales and service excellence. We are experiencing major growth, and we are seeking an experienced Fleet Sales Manager working out of our corporate office in Lewisville, Texas.

The Fleet Sales Manager is a pivotal new position in NIRVC’s expansion efforts. The Fleet Sales Manager is responsible for creating and managing a fleet sales program, developing new business relationships, and driving sales to create new revenue streams for the business. The position is a hybrid role, working out of our corporate office in Lewisville, TX (50% in-office).

As a Fleet Sales Manager you will:
  1. Identify new business opportunities within the transportation sector, establish strategic partnerships, and expand our customer base.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to form partnerships with businesses, organizations, and key stakeholders in the transportation sector.
  3. Increase revenue by prospecting, signing, and generating sales from new Fleet accounts for shuttle buses, sprinter vans, and class B units.
  4. Conduct market research to uncover growth opportunities and assess competitive advantages.
  5. Visit prospective customers to stimulate interest in establishing or expanding vehicle fleet and commercial purchases.
  6. Respond promptly to sales inquiries and/or requests for proposals to secure business.
  7. Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the purchase process.
  8. Coordinate logistics for vehicle acquisition and delivery to business customers.
  9. Execute business plans to achieve profitability and sales goals and utilize a consultative sales approach to acquire new clients and grow existing accounts.
  10. Review sales and customer data daily to monitor growth and declines, executing action plans to address issues with specific customers.
  11. Close out agreements, sending final contracts to businesses to finalize deals.
  12. Coordinate with the service department on fleet deliveries if service items need to be addressed.
  13. Represent the dealer at business and civic functions as assigned by management.
  14. Work directly with the Director of Inventory to secure fleet inventory.
Qualifications:
  1. 3-5 years of experience in fleet sales, business development, or account management (experience in transportation, logistics, or related industries is a plus).
  2. Proven success in identifying and securing new business opportunities in the fleet management or transportation sector.
  3. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  4. Computer and software proficiency; Sales Force and Excel specifically.
  5. Strong phone skills (Cold calling).
  6. Meticulous attention to detail, including maintaining accurate records and diligently tracking key sales metrics.
  7. Enthusiasm for supporting internal projects and business priorities, bringing order and efficiency to critical internal initiatives.
  8. Confidence to present internally and externally to senior leaders across various business segments.
  9. Professional credibility, responsiveness, integrity, ethical standards, and ability to prioritize across competing demands.
  10. Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to communicate challenges and opportunities concisely and clearly.
  11. This is a customer-facing role which requires a professional image and delivery of exceptional customer service skills.
  12. Valid Driver’s license.
  13. Must be at least 21 years of age.
  14. Travel may be required.
  1. Must be able to lift to 25 lbs. and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices.
  2. Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending.
  3. Environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust, and wetness.
