Job summary

Climate Pros, LLC is seeking a knowledgeable Fleet Safety Lead to drive a best‑in‑class safety program for ~1,500 vehicles nationwide, including vans and pickup trucks. You’ll develop policies, train drivers, analyze telematics, and partner with operations to reduce collisions.

The role requires leading safety initiatives across multiple branches, delivering classroom and field training, and coaching field teams to adopt a culture of safe driving throughout the U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible fleet safety experience.
• Experience supporting multiple geographically dispersed locations.
• Experience delivering classroom and behind‑the‑wheel driver training.
• Experience in developing safety procedures and training materials.
• Experience managing fleet safety programs for 1500+ vehicles preferred.
• Strong knowledge of defensive driving principles.
• Experience conducting collision investigations.
• Experience analyzing fleet safety metrics and telematics data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
• Valid driver’s license with exceptional driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the fleet safety strategy.
• Champion a culture where safe vehicle operation is a professional responsibility.
• Develop standardized fleet safety policies, procedures, and expectations.
• Establish driver qualification, onboarding, and refresher training programs.
• Evaluate fleet risks and implement corrective actions to reduce incidents.
• Analyze telematics data and implement preventive actions.
• Support continuous improvement using performance data and trends.
• Lead investigations for fleet accidents and implement corrective actions.
• Deliver classroom and hands‑on driver training nationwide.
• Conduct in‑vehicle evaluations and field observations to reinforce safety.
