  • Create training programs covering defensive driving, distracted driving, vehicle accident procedures, ladder safety, electrical awareness, heat illness prevention, slips/trips/falls, lifting, incident reporting, and other field-safety topics.
  • Develop toolbox talks, safety communications, campaigns, and recurring safety initiatives.
  • Coordinate new-hire safety and driver-safety training.
  • Develop remedial training following vehicle accidents, injuries, unsafe driving events, near misses, or identified safety concerns.
  • Track training completion and partner with Operations to address outstanding requirements.
  • Use accident, injury, telematics, inspection, and other safety data to identify future training needs.
  • Lead and continuously improve the Company’s Fleet Safety Program.
  • Establish and reinforce standards for safe vehicle operation and driver behavior.
  • Monitor vehicle accident frequency, severity, preventability, and recurring trends.
  • Monitor MVR and driver-eligibility processes and ensure appropriate escalation of identified risks.

  • Create recurring reports, dashboards, and metrics for Operations and Company leadership.
  • Track and analyze fleet accidents, preventable accidents, driver-safety events, employee injuries, OSHA recordables, lost-time incidents, training completion, safety inspections, and corrective actions.
