Buyers Barricades is seeking a Fleet Safety Manager to lead and continually improve our fleet safety program across all locations, with a strong focus on driver development and telematics-based coaching.

The role emphasizes proactive safety, incident reduction, and data-driven decision making. You will partner with operations, HR, and leadership to embed safe driving practices into daily work and drive measurable safety outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in fleet safety, transportation, or driver safety.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Experience with driver training, telematics, and safety program development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the fleet safety program across all locations; implement policies and training materials.
• Develop driver-performance expectations and safety standards.
• Manage telematics data review, coaching, and performance dashboards.
• Coordinate driver training, ride-alongs, and road tests for new hires.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain incident records and report safety trends to leadership.
