Job summary

Kokosing Construction is seeking a Fleet Safety Manager to support and administer the company’s Fleet Safety Management policies and procedures. You will manage driver qualification files, monitor ELD data for hours-of-service compliance, and ensure regulatory documentation is accurate and complete.

Under the guidance of the Fleet Safety Manager, Director or VP of Safety, you will coordinate DOT/FMCSA training, assist with incident investigations, and support audits and insurance reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety and health or equivalent.
• 0–5+ years of experience in fleet safety management.
• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and HazMat compliance paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Audit and maintain Driver Qualification (DQ) files and verify credentials.
• Monitor Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) for hours-of-service compliance.
• Support DOT/FMCSA compliance tracking and reporting.
• Distribute fleet safety communications and assist with policy updates.
• Assist with incident documentation, evidence collection and reporting.
• Coordinate required DOT/FMCSA training and maintain records.
