Job summary

Alpha Generation is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to manage capital and maintenance projects across its power generation fleet in the northeastern United States. This role involves providing technical leadership in mechanical, civil, and electrical projects, ensuring efficient and safe operations.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and have at least 5 years in related engineering fields, particularly with rotating equipment. The position involves up to 40% travel across sites, contributing to vital evaluations and inspections.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience in the power generation industry.
• Experience with pumps, motors, turbines, vibration analysis, alignment, lubrication systems.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Fleet Rotating Equipment Program, overseeing inspections and condition monitoring.
• Direct fleet rotating equipment programs and manage lifecycle health of equipment.
• Collaborate with plant teams and contractors to implement engineered solutions.
