Job summary

Mountain Air Cargo seeks a seasoned Manager of Reliability and Maintenance Programs to lead the company’s reliability initiatives and manage the maintenance programs and related departments. You will support maintenance control, station mechanics, inventory control and maintenance records.

The role requires leadership, strong technical background in aircraft systems, and experience with regulatory compliance and safety programs. Travel to support on-site operations is expected.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current AP license with aviation knowledge.
• BS in Aeronautical/Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering in an accredited college preferred.
• Five years of management experience with project management in a similar field.
• Knowledge of MSG-3 process and Maintenance Program Development.
• Experience with ATR 42/72 and C208 aircraft preferred.
• Experience with 121 and 135 operations.

Responsibilities

• Implements changes to improve overall fleet reliability in a safe, expeditious and cost-effective manner.
• Serves as Chairperson for the Product Review Board (PRB).
• Administers the Airworthiness Directives Management Program: AD receipt, analysis and actions for AD compliance.
• Oversees assigned fleet to ensure safety, reliability and quality.
• Interfaces with FAA, NTSB and other organizations regarding fleet issues.
• Coordinates with Flight Operations to revise the MEL/CDL manual.
• Represents the Company to FAA and other agencies.
