Job summary

The Fleet Reliability Engineer at Allegiant is responsible for maintaining airworthiness, reliability, and safety across the growing fleet. The role combines engineering rigor with data-driven analysis to support FAA reliability programs, investigate trends, and drive improvements with cross-functional teams and OEM partners.

You will develop dashboards and reports in Tableau/Power BI, partner with Airbus and Boeing teams, and translate findings into proactive maintenance actions, ensuring

Qualifications

• 3+ years in aviation reliability or airline technical operations.
• 2+ years in aviation reliability with a Master's degree.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills with a data-centric approach to reliability problems.
• Familiarity with FAA Reliability Programs (e.g., D074), aircraft systems, ATA structure, MSG-3 based maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure ongoing compliance with RPM and FAA D074 requirements.
• Perform root cause analysis using data to identify gaps and drive maintenance improvements.
• Monitor and classify data (PIREPs, delays, SDRs) to detect trends.
• Manage databases for Chronic Discrepancies, SDRs, and Mechanical Reliability Reports for FAA submissions.
• Create dashboards and executive summaries of reliability trends using Tableau or BI tools.
